Fiji for families

Hi - we are looking at travelling to Fiji with a one year old. Can anyone suggest accomodation that is family friendly and caters for young children (without being the large five star resorts)? Also can anyone suggest anywhere to stay that is not in Nadi (ie. off the main island)? Thanks for your input.

My daughter has brought her family to stay with us at Octopus in the Yasawas - every year since her children (now 4 & 7) were each a year old. It's a great place for families.
