| j3nster7702:40 UTC21 Jul 2007 | My husband and I will be in Fiji for a month in November and were thinking of arranging a homestay for perhaps a week or two. Does anyone know of any good companies that can arrange this?
I have been looking at the Fijibure website: http://www.fijibure.com/ Has anyone used them before?
Any recommendations welcome.

1-the Fijians you'll be staying with are the 'better off' people in the villages yet still quite poor by westerns standards-it's in no way a luxury experience.
2-FijiBure.com was spamming this forum heavily in the past and was banned a number of times-hopefully they/their shills have learned their lesson are sticking to business.
fijianfamilies.com is what I have bookmarked but the site is just a list of hotels now with some info @ the bottom of the page.

Their agency is american based and run on voluntary basis...
