FIJI in AprilCountry forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji
We're going for our honeymoon to Fiji in April. I have never really used travel agents before, (and may never again) after trying to discuss the details of pricing of various fiji places to stay Yasawas, etc. At this point, i'm trying to arrange things by ourselves. I'm trying to figure out 1) How much does it cost to transfer from airport to the marina? Thank you I look forward to any replies, suggestions.

I would suggest that if you do want to go to 2 islands you stick to one group either the Mamanuca's or the Yasawa's as different transfer companies serve both groups and a transfer between the 2 groups would be much more difficult than one between islands in the same group. | 2
Thank you for your replies, they were very helpful!!! | 3
If you have not already done so you should check out www.tripadvisor.com - most of the resorts are reviewed there and the forum should be able to answer your questions. | 4

Bula! I would suggest flying to Nadi, then there is free transport from Nadi Airport to my fave flashpackers, Nadi Bay resort. The resort will store excess luggage, (you only need swimmers, sarongs and shorts and singlets and thongs) and the lovely lady at the resort will book you aboard the Yasawa Flyer for accommodatioon suited to your needs. You can choose the amount of nights, if you are young at heart, Beachcomber is great, I'm 52 and enjoyed Mystery and South Sea Island, but my son (23) loved Beachcomber. There are various Yasawa Island options varying in accommodation and length of stay. Good luck! | 6
