Fiji in June

Hi,
My girlfriend's birthday is in june and i would like to take her to Fiji for a week. I am coming from Brisbane. Who are the cheapest to fly with? What is the weather like at this time of the year? Is it beach weather? Where would be the best place to go to? I am looking for a nice place that has good nightlife. A backpacker place would be good. Any advice would be appreciated.

Your best bet would be to do a internet search and see who is offering the cheapest flights for the dates you want. Pacific Blue, Air Pacific and Qantas (even though you buy Qantas you fly airpacific) all offer regular flights from Brisbane

June is great for sunny days and lack of rain so as a tourist its a nice time however its their winter and as you live in a warmer climate (like me) you will probably find it a bit cool for swimming... southern state residents seem to enjoy that time of the year the most.

IF you looking for nightlife then I cant help you there,, but I have heard there is some backpackers on the islands that have young crowds and more of a party style theme, but others will have to help you with advice there.

I'm from Qld and often go to Fiji in June and its lovely - water certainly warm enough to swim - virgin had airfares return from $450 last week! My advice is Get out to an island and have lots of fun! Changed $300 at St Geaorge bank a nd got $450 Fiji

we got tickets from bris to nadi from pacific blue
they were $108 each way...however the taxes were that again.
so ended up around bit over 200 each way....still a bargain!
