Fiji It

Any recommendations for a 5 day trip itinerary to fiji, flyin into and out of Nadi so wont want to spend too long on boats or anything...thanks folks!

Pick out an island in the Mamanucas or Yasawas that looks like it meets your interests and budget. Get off the mainland, basically.

My wife & I spent 7 days at the Octopus Resort in the Yaswas in January 07. Great spot to relax, snorkel or dive. It has a pretty reef right in front of the resort. We paid something like $1,160US for the 7 days in a bure with meals, airport and water transport all included. I thought it was a great price performer. The staff was excellent and so was the food.

They have accommodation ranging from an air-conditioned beach-front cottage to dorms to a tent.

Get away from all the tourist and go to the better beaches and nicer resort. my best mate and i went and did Feejee Experience last month and had a blast. i like culture and all that, but enjoyed just laying in the sun at the resort as well.
