Fiji New Years

hey im heading over to fiji with my girlfrind after christmas this year for new years and we didnt know where to book a room at..
Could anyone tell me where the best place is for new years and then a different place to go afterwards to do a bit of sightseeing and scuba diving etc.

Book early for both.
