| r_duffield04:55 UTC04 Jul 2007 | Hi guys,
apologies in advance as I know there are some similar posts up about this. Basically I am hoping to go the tribewanted island of vorovoro next march for 2 weeks and am hoping to spend a week elsewhere in fiji either before or after (whether the days are split either side or not).
I'm guessing it might be better to do a straight week after vorovoro in order to fit things i want to do in? How easy is it to get around the islands?
Also I've been reading other posts and looked at some websites and am still a bit unsure as where to look at staying (haven't got any guidebooks yet but will do so I can get a better idea but would appreciate any input from you until then). I'll be 24 and want somewhere with a lively atmosphere but not sure if Beachcomber is the type of thing I'm looking for if it's going to be like 18-30s. I'd like to do a few dives, would quite like a nice beach and am looking at budget- mid-range accommodation - I will be going alone.
one more thing - what is the catering like for veggies? (I don't eat fish either)
any comments or suggestions will be hugely appreciated.
Cheers

Look into Caqalai or Leleuvia instead. They are cheaper, better, and will make you happier. The snorkeling is THE BEST, and there is a dive shop on Caqalai, but since I don't dive, I'm not sure what they offer.
And if you have the time, and want to raise your consciousness, I would strongly suggest a visit to Navala village. Stay at Bulou's Lodge and tour the village with Tui. You will be changed as a person.
Good luck!
