Fiji (Savu Savu) January

We'll be in Savusavu in January and are trying to decide between Daku Resort and Hot Springs Hotel for 7 of us. Suggestions? Half of us are fine with the hostel type of room but the in-laws need a bit more privacy.

Hi, just back from Daku. It's alright. Savu is ok. The chalets are quite nice and new. The western aussie owner is nice and the local staff ok. I think I prefer the Yasawa's being a more remote island experience as opposed to Savu being more a small town on a larger island with cars and roads etc. Daku does a lot of special interest group stays so that can be interesting to tag along with. Enjoy.
