Flash Fiji Honeymoon

Hi Everyone,

My fiancee and I are planning to go to Fiji for our honeymoon late Feb early March. We would like to stay somewhere secluded with an option to do a bit of sailing occasionally. We want the resort to be very special. . HAs anyone been anywhere which really wowed them?

Shangri-La along the south coast is worth investigating, if you want to be on the main island. There are several pricey resorts NW of Nadi, some cater to honeymooners, etc.

Ive bene to Shangri La 3 times and it is very lovely, and it is often favoured by honeymooners, but I wouldnt call it "secluded" by any means. It is a large hotel with hundreds of rooms, albeit in a lovely location.

The pricey resorts noted by Raro are, I think on Denerau - Westin, Sofitel, Hilton etc. All flash hotels, but the "beach" is poor.

I agree that those mentioned have a lousy beach. I was really referring to the Mamanucas/Yasawa resorts on the little islands a bit offshore.

Go to Vatulele. It's not cheap but worth every dollar. There were a number of honeymooners there when we stayed and all had a fantastic experience.
