Four night stay in Fiji... Where to stay?

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji

I am travelling to Fiji for a 4 night stay, arriving from Sydney before heading onto Kiribati. I fly in and out of Nadi.

I am finding the information about hotels in and around Nadi very confusing. Ideally I want to visit the Mamanucas one day, maybe do some hiking or visit Suva another day. I am not interested in diving.

Any recommendations for the best place to base myself?

Cheers

would suggest Danny's 2hrs from Nadi

GREAT cultural experience and it is half way between Nadi and Suva so might be a good place to stop over on your way to Suva

you can catch a bus from Nadi to Suva for about $20.00 FJD and stop at Danny's for the night on the way to Suva

Suva, a trip to Mamanucas and everything in between is alot to do in 4 days in Fiji.

You could stay one night in Nadi and then do a day trip to one of the islands. But then head right away from Nadi if you want nice holiday memories.

As above suggested head towards the Coral Coast. Homestays are fun. Whats your budget?
There is resorts that are nice - Warwick, Naviti or Outrigger
Or you could do Mango Bay Resort.

If you base yourself on the Coral Coast then you are in the middle of Nadi and Suva and only 1.5 hours to either town.
Plus the Coral Coast has lots of things to see and do if you want to see some of the Real Fiji or meet locals etc.

I will post a previous post so you can get an idea :-)
