Getting from Nannu-i-ra to Ovalau

Hi I am wondering if anyone knows if there is a bus-ferry-bus service to get to Ovalau from the Kings road in the north. We have done it from Suva no problem but would like to go the other way around this time. Or can we get off the bus at Korovou and get the bus from there? The bus we were on was packed all the way from Suva and no way could have fit more on.

I'd still do it by getting off in Korovou.
From there to the ferry port it isn't too far, nor is Levuka very far from the ferry port on the Ovalau side.
So even if the bus is full, you could survive having to stand - I certainly could, anyway.

Call Patterson Brothers ( the bus/shipping company - Phone: 331 5644) to book your ticket or email patterson@connect.com.fj - this way they know, that additional passengers will join from Korovou. If you are flexibel with your travelling ask when the "Harmony" ( the new ferry) is scheduled to sail directly to Levuka harbour. Then you won't have the long bus ride from Buresala to Levuka.

Cool thanks very much for that Bulabear. I didn't know tickets could be booked by phone, also didn't know about the new ferry. That would be a handy way to go. With such a good wharf at Levuka, it seems sensible. Cheers.
