Going to Fiji in 1 week, where to go?!

Hello everyone, I'm doing the whole backpacker thing for six months so trying to do everything on a budget.

I go to Fiji in one week, for just over two weeks. I have been travelling for 5 months now and getting tired of moving constantly and so with Fiji I want to stay somewhere beautiful and cheap to relax.

Is there anywhere you could recommend for this? I don't mind moving twice, or maybe three times if there are things I must see, but generally I just want somewhere nice to chill.

Hi, fiji is about chilling, esp after travelling. Isalnd life is as good as it gets here so consider the Mamanuca group (I like Beachcomber but there are plenty of others) or ideally a bit further to get to the Yasawa Islands group (Octopus and Blue Lagoon are popular but they are all nice though generally rustic). Enjoy! Others will add their thoughts for sure.

Like you I have travelled for several months recently too, so I know how you feel.
As stated above, Fiji is a great place for the purpose of chilling, especially Octopus and Blue Lagoon Beach Resort in the Yasawas are amazing and easy to get to from Nadi.
If you arrive in Suva, I can recommend the little island of Caqalai. More basic (and cheaper) than Octopus and Blue Lagoon and a lot less crowded.
All depends on your preferences/budget/interests.
