Good last minute deals to Fiji from Aus?

Hi everyone, just got recommended Fiji as a travel destination. Google's turned up heap of websites on Fiji.
I'm a single girl and like hiking (I know bit odd considering Fiji's all beaches but surely there's some walks I can do)

Can anyone recommend a good package deal from Australia (in particular, Sydney) if I were to travel this week and come back at some point before Easter?

No such thing as a "good" package deal to Fiji. Just get the airfare and work out the rest of the details on your own. There are lots of recommendations if you look at past posts here.

There's lots of hiking. In fact, on the main island the hiking easily beats the beaches (beaches on the mainland are nothing special).

You actually can get good deals from a travel wholesaler, ive done this before. As an intial comparison i asked the resort direct and then priced the same thing via the Australian wholsesaler, the resort was much dearer and told me up from the wholesaler had better bulk rates than they could give me which was true for Mana and Plantation. We used travelonline.com That said you may get a good price if you dared to wait till you hit the nadi airport and booked at the resort offices at the exits.
