help on Viti Levu POI'sCountry forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji
Bula Vinaka, experts on Fiji, I am thinking if anyone could help me here on this forum with the following. My friends and I will be touring Viti Levu in May, running on a tight schedule. After we arrive from Caqalai Island in the morning (it's a Sunday), we need to head up along the northern shore road or through the inland and get to Rakiraki town by the end of the day. We will have hired vans or minibus with a driver. We were seriously thinking about visiting Savulelele Waterfall and Nabalesere village on an organized tour but were told since it is the Sunday, they do not operate on this day. It is difficult to even find and locate these falls on google maps in order to see if we can manage to get at least to the waterfall on our own. Strange is many tour agencies that could possibly arrange a transport for us on Viti Levu do not know the place either. So, I am looking for some activities on Viti Levu along this way. Is there anything else to do or see between these two points? Any reasonable diversions are no problem but we prefer some non-nautical activities as we will have had enough of them by the time. And any idea about the Savulelele? Thank you a lot, jirikoo
i forgot to specify we're looking for anything to see or do between Waidalice Landing and Rakiraki town. Iin this radius... It was not clear from my OP. | 1
