How much time should you spend in the Yasawa Group?

Looks like we have 16 days to kill before we get our reservation at the Astrolabe Reef. Is that too little, too much or just enough time to go hopping around on the Yasawa Flyer and still have enough time to see the bull sharks at Beqa Lagoon? Thanks in advance for your responses :)

You have plenty of time with 16 days to visit quite a few of the Yasawa Islands via the Yellow Flyer Catamaran (AwesomeFiji.com) You could combine a number of islands such as Waya Island, where the
Octopus Resort is. After a stay of a few nights, continue north on the catamaran to islands such as Nacula, Nanuyalailai and Tavewa. These three are clustered together and separated by only a mile or two so you can stay at one, and day-trip to the others. The Blue Lagoon Beach Resort is here, gets great reviews.
