In need of help and advice!

I am traveling to Fiji with my boyfriend in February after we have been to Australia, I am totally new to the Island and dont have a clue where to start in terms of accommodation or transport. The biggest problem i seem to have is choosing an Island. Can anyone recommend places to stay and things to see? also any advice on the ferries would be much appreciated.

I do have a budget but seeing as its the last leg of our trip we are also looking to treat ourselves a bit
