Independent sea-kayaking in the Yasawas?

Hi everyone, searching on line and on this forum I can find loads of options for organised sea-kayaking tours in the Yasawa Islands. It sounds amazing, but the problem is I can't stand organised tours. Does anyone have any info or has anyone managed to sea-kayak the islands independently? I guess I'm really looking for a place over there where it's possible to hire the kayaks and all the gear and then just go for it. Any help greatly appreciated!
