Is Fiji still beach weather this time of year?

Hi, I've been to Fiji heaps but not in July. I could do with a flying 5 day visit for some Mamanucan R & R but unsure if it's still balmy about now/in July. Seems only 22C in Nadi? Anyone currently there? Is it swimmable? I'm thinking Beechcomber as I know what to expect and it's pretty handy. Cheers, C.

I was in Nadi in early July last year. Most days were warm - low-mid 20s, evenings coolish

there's the sunshine coast north of Nadi, the rain seems to always go just to the south of the northern tip.
so it is nicer up there and the trade winds keep the temperature comfortable.
