Mamanuca's - reasonably priced alternative to Funky Fish

Hi all

Lots of posters have recommended the Funky Fish and it gets a good write up in the LP. Only problem is that it's closed for renovations and the alternative which the website directs you to (Beachcomber) which is way more expensive than I'm looking for. It may be that I'm simply unrealistic but does anyone know of somewhere in the Mamanuca's that does a double room in the region of FJ$250 per night?

You could have a look at Ratu Kini Backpackers on Mana Island - they have private doubles and a couple of beach cottages that fall in your price range. They also have a dive resort and offer several activities as well as having a good restaurant. Mana is a great island for water activities and has several short hikes to great views, as well as several lovely beaches.
