mid priced accommodation in suva

Hi all my husband and i will be in suva for 6 nights on business and we are looking for mid priced accommodation (about $A 80ish). would like somewhere clean and good service and hopefully easy to get taxis etc to get around. Any recommondendations? someone has suggested the holiday inn but it didnt get good reviews on other websites and another suggestion was studio 6 but very few reviews about that one. wouldnt mind having a small kitchenette or at least coffee making faciltities. any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Holiday Inn is very nice. Also as you will probably be doing business in Suva city, everything is within walking, or taxis to and from under $5.. If you find meals are expensive at the Inn then there are lots of nice restaurants within walking distance. Studio 6 (not so good)

Hi Casha - one of the places that I'm considering for our trip is Nanettes http://www.nanettes.com.fj/. I haven't done a search on Thorn Tree to see if anyone has stayed there, but the reviews on www.tripadvisor.ca have been positive.
