nadi backpackers/cheaper accomodation reviewsCountry forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji
So, you have to stay in nadi at least a night, before a flight or before going somewhere else. After surfing the lp and other sites for a few hours trying to find reviews, I thought if people could write something on here about where they stayed and what it was like. So, did you stay in Downtown ? Wailoaloa beach? New town beach? Near the airport? Let us know where and what it was like thanks

Good try Jase, shame you didn't get more responses! I've spent hours looking at this forum gathering info; it would be good if we could find all the reviews in one place! | 2
I was looking for this type of info too, how about some prices to go with the reviews please? | 3
you'll get prices when you go to there websites | 4
hi there, i been to fiji twice, both times stayed at Wailoaloa Beach on Nadi Bay, the first time stayed at aquarius for a few nights, as i was on my own it was good, eay to meet other travellers, the dorm was cheap, and as i was on a budget there were was some good cheap food on the menu. we sat on the beach by smugglers and talking to people that stayed there, aquarius had cheaper accom and cheaper food, just that you have to walk 5 min to get to the beach. lol this last time i went i stayed at travellers beach resort which is on the same road, but is at the end of the road, it was so much quieter, more relaxing and pretty cheap. i dont think they have their own website, at least i couldnt find one, but i did get in contact with them thru an email link on one of the fiji websites, which could be why it was so much quieter than smugglers and the other end of the beach. food around here at any of the places is pretty expensive, its cheaper in the city, only prob is that buses stop and you cant get there. if theres a few of you it would be worthwhile to get a taxi and get some supplies and eat in the city. also just on the same road towards travellers, but on the right hand side, was a young indian guy who was running a place with rooms, and they did lunches and dinners pretty cheap as well, he had a board out with specials, food was good and cheaper than the hostels. notes..... -local buses are really cheap. and fun and you can get cheap food from stalls and stuff at bus stations and other places in the citys (markets) transport to any island is not cheap, neither is accom or food fiji was nice and had beautiful beaches, but having been to asia and other places, if your on a budget, fiji is not the place to go to. you get just as beautiful beaches and diving/snorkelling in asia, and for what you would spend on two weeks in fiji, you could live for a month or so in asia. so if your really on a budget, think hard about fiji.
