Nadi to ManaCountry forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji
Hello We are off to Fiji next September on a RTW trip We will arrive on a Monday at 1pm and as we dont have much time we want to get to Mana Island as soon as possible I understand the ferry and flights are about the same price - so we would like to go for the quicker flying option - I understand Air Pacific do the route but I can't find anything on their site. Does anyone know the timetable/fares/how to book ?? Our flight out of Nadi is early on the Friday so we also need to get to Nadi on the Thursday , probably in the afternoon I guess.... cheers
We believe Air Pacific have stopped flying to Mana and MaloloLaiLai. | 1
ok cheers - so I guess the best/only option is to get down to the pier as soon as we land and get on the first boat... | 2
If you check out the Mana Island forum at tripadvisor you should get the latest details on transportation - it is a very popular island with many repeat visitors. I recall a lot of comments when Air Pacific shut down that route - everyone was looking for alternative ways of getting there. | 3
you will find all the boat and resorts info and options as you come out of the Nadi airport arrivals hall, sometimes boats go from Vu(n)da as well as Denaru | 4
Hi! It's awesome to hear you are heading to Mana - what a beautiful place to stay! South Sea Cruises operate a resort connections service to connect your flights with the ferry service. You can see exactly how it works here: http://bit.ly/hzEaeY Or, as you mentioned, the other option would be to take a seaplane - not so sure these are cheaper though! Have a look here for option on gettinng to Mana http://www.manafiji.com/transfers.html I hope this helps gumbarge! Have fun in the Mamanuca Islands :) | 5
I use the Mana Flyer, in Feb 11 ,cost FJD $60 one way goes all over the Mamanuca Group, trip advisor gives the phone contact | 6
