New Year's in Fiji

I'm currently planning a group trip to Fiji for New Year's and I was looking for some recommendations for resorts (backpacker) to stay at, a good venue for New Year's proper, and someplace inland where I can experience a bit more of day to day Fijian life.

I've previously stayed at Mango Bay, Robinson Crusoe (both of which I'll visit again), Manta Ray, and Kuata (not as likely to visit again).

Looking for some recommendations.
