new years twice, is it possible

i am wondering if im in taveuni on the 31st, what is the nearest island i can get to in order to celebrate new years twice?? and how do i go about doing it?? anyone ver do this??

Pescadortico, there is an Air Pacific flight from Nadi to Apia (Samoa) that allows you to enjoy the same days twice as you arrive in Apia the day before you leave. The flight (FJ253) leaves Nadi at 1.45 AM one day (could well be January 1st) and arrives in Apia at 4.35 AM the day before (could be Dec 31st) which would allow you to celebrate nochevieja twice (first in Nadi and then again in Apia). Unfortunatelly Air Pacific, flies only on Sunday and Tuesday. If they don't change their schedulles you will have to wait until 2011 for this (unless you can pay for a private flight).
