one day in nadi- nightlife

My partner and I are spending 2 1/2 weeks in fiji- islands, coral coast and pacific harbour. We will be spending 1 1/2 days and one night in nadi before we depart for home and were wondering where the best base is for walking distance to nightlife and perhaps markets and trinket shopping. We will prob have had our fill of lthe beaches etc. so are just looking for a decent hotel/resort that is a little lively with a decent pool and breakfast before we head home. Can anyone make any recommendations? Happy to spend anywhere between $80 and $180 for the night. Also are there any must sees in Nadi that wont take too much time out of our day?
