Recent Experiences Wanted

Anyone stay at Oarsman (Yasawas), Daku Resort (Savusavu) lately? If so please PM me with your recent experiences as we're looking to book with both in January.

Hello, I came back from Fiji 2 days ago. I haven't been at Daku but I have been at Oarsman. I must say that the beach is really good, the water is clear and lovely and the corals are great. However, the resort is not as good as we expected it. It's very overpriced for the services offered, the food is not good and I am particularly angry with them because I spent a week in bed because of a gastroenteritis I caught from their food/drinks. If you're looking for something nice on the Yasawas, you should go to Octopus resort on Waya or Eco Haven resort on Waya Lailai or Nanuya Resort on the Blue Lagoon at Nanuya Lailai (but this is definitely more expensive!). We've visited almost all the islands and I can tell you that Oarsman was not good enough for what we paid!! Bye! Vale
