Resort suggestions

Hello,

3 friends - (37 to 40 y.o.) - hoping to go to Fiji for a week in September/October. Looking for suggestions for islands/resorts so we can then try and find a package deal. Our budget is $800.00 to $1000.00 each.

Looking for a resort with snorkelling straight off the beach and spa facilities, if not close to another resort with spa facilities. Basically just want to relax during the day and have a few cocktails before dinner at night. Thinking maybe 3 to 4 days on an island and then 2 days Nadi mainland for shopping/tours.

Have also noticed that some hotels offer a meal package. Any thoughts on these?

We were on this yacht last year and it was absolutely fabulous. we went to many resorts and villages where no one else could go. We went for a full week in the Yasawas but another option was a 2-4 days around the Mamanucas. You get crazy freedom and can discuss your itinerary with the captain depending on your interest. (snorkeling, surfing, fishing, private beach, what ever) I dont know why the price is so high on the web site but it's not what we paid when we were there.
Just a suggestion.
