return to Fiji

It's been 10 years since we last visited Fiji and it's high time to return. We always enjoyed Skylodge when we arrived in Nadi before heading out to the Yasawas. We enjoyed Octopus during our first visit and moved up to Botaira the next but its gotten too speedy ($325/night) We also liked Oarsman's Bay though not quite as much and they haven't posted current prices and I'm wondering if they're still in business. The resort on Nananui-I-Ra was nice though it's hard to beat the beaches of Yasawas. We also enjoyed a nice bure in Taveuni, and Kadavu whose names I will have to search for. Things change, prices increase and contacts move on so I'm returning to the Thorn Tree forum for advice and recommendations as it helped us find many of the places we loved back then. I've searched the recent postings and gotten a few ideas but would love to hear more. We're not backpackers anymore but not high rollers either. We've never been to Vanua Levu so that's on our list as well. We've got the latest LP guide on the way too. Thanks.

would you think of a local cruise, there are 7 day ones that let you see a lot of different places. and in the 10 years since you have been a lot of new resorts of different categories.

Der Seabus kostet ab Lautoka 100 fdollar.Man kann zu Fuß zur Blauen Lagune
laufen. Es ist sehr ruhig.

P.s Ich habe in Nadi im Tropic of Capricorn meinen Geldbeutel mit meiner Motcard für Neuseeland vergessen!Kennt ihr jemanden, der bis Anfang März von Nadi nach Auckland fliegt und ihn mitnehmen könnte?
