Robinson Crusoe Island?

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji

Has anyone stayed on Robinson Crusoe Island, or better, has anyone done one of their accom/meals/shows packages? We're heading over to Fiji July 09 and trying to work out the best plan/deal/holiday over 3-4 nights. Any help'd be appreciated.

Cheers

I haven't stayed or visited Robinson Cruse Is but have recently spoken to someone who did, and they reported that really enjoyed it there. Most small islands offer meal packages, simply because there isn't anywhere else to go (unless you bring packaged food with you).

Last I heard it was closing down, just a rumour though. Double check before you book anything.

Haven't stayed at Robinson Crusoe but have heard that it is good fun and good value. As far as I know they are closed for the month of Feburary due to the recent floods in Fiji but will reopen. A quick email to them will let you know for sure. Enjoy your stay Fiji's great.

We went to Robinson Crusoe Island for a day trip back in June 2007.
We had a great time, veryone was really friendly adn there was stacks of food.
They did a little cultural show and we went for a walk through the island with one of the island guys showing us different plants and stuff like that.
Only down side was the stingers in the water which meant we couldn't swim in many parts of the beach.
