Sailing to Fiji

Hi,

I am heading to the Pacific islands and I need to sail from Indonesia or PNG to Fiji or Tonga. Is there any way of getting there by boat from one of these countries or a neighbouring one? I intend to do this around january or February.

Pretty tough---no ferries between countries, frieghters won't take passengers between countries, and most yachts do not travel around the S. Pacific from November to April as it's the cyclone season. Better chance from April on, but that's not a common route for yachts. Most heading to Fiji/Tonga will leave from Australia or New Zealand.
