Hi Has anyone stayed in Savusavu and if so where? I'm thinking of Daku but since I'll be there for new year I thought it might be too far out from town to walk back alone at night. Other options are savusavu sunset lodge, hidden paradise and naveria heights. Any info is appreciated. Thanks
Savu is very quiet unless you are at one of the resorts, Daku is small and if the manager/owner is there theres sure to be something on as he's a social bloke, id be surprised if there was anything on in the small town harbour area as the boaties would do there own onboard thing maybe? Daku is not far up the road from the Cousteau Reort so you could try there but it wouldnt be cheap, should be good though. | 1
Savusavu is a safe town, and walking home at night is no prob, but take a torch! Daku is only like a $3-5 taxi ride away and there are plenty of taxis to choose from day or night! Cousteau is on a very bumpy road and is a $10-15 taxi ride away. The Yachties are likely to be at the Yacht club for New Years, while the Planters and Hot Springs are bound to have some celebrations. Savusavu is as happening as you want to make it! Enjoy your stay in our wonderful wee town. | 2
Please be holiday wise. Dont walk home, take a cab, its cheap enough and safe. | 3
