Shark Diving at Beqa: Trip Report

Bula everyone! Recently got back from a 3 week trip to Fiji, and had an absolute blast.

But probably my most favorite experience was diving with sharks off Beqa Island. I was a bit nervous about the whole thing at first, but after 5 minutes you get comfortable with them swimming around right in front of your face. We saw Bulls, White Tips, Black Tips, Greys, and Nurse sharks. A 2 tank dive cost around $150 US with Beqa Adventure Divers.

We went down to about 100 feet deep. The water is very clear. I don't have a ton of dive experience either, just 12 dives under my belt and a basic PADI Open Water certification.
