sightseeing tours

Hi,

Travelling to Fiji early March, staying at Shangri La. Have 2 boys 5 & 8, just wondering if anyone can recommend tours that we shouldn't miss. Would love to see a village, caves, maybe go rafting that type of thing. Has anyone been on a tour that they would recommend. Please provide name of Tour Company if you can remember it. Thanks.

There may be some raft trips down the Sigatoka River, which is relatively close to Shangri-La. The best bet is to work through the tour desk at the hotel, as this assures the tour operator will actually show up. If you did it by phone, etc., and they didn;t have enough people on the day of the tour, they might just not show up, nor even call to let you know that. Shangri-La is not near a main town, so I'd stick to tours through their desk which they know are reliable for that area.
