just wanted to know what the best beaches are and whats the best for snorkeling?

The answer to this depends on your definition of "best" beach for snorkelling.

eg best white sand? Best coral, fish? Best for accom/food by the beach? Your budget? Available time?

Ive just returned from Oarsmans (nothern Yasawas) and can recommend that place for snorkelling. White clean sandy beach, good reef right up close to shore, swimmable even at low tide, pleasant laid back, reasonably priced resort. Only minor gripe is that its a 4.5 hour boat trip from Nadi.
