State of Kadavu after Evan?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone is on Kadavu right now and can tell me something about the state of things there. We are booked at a resort from 31 Dec through 5 Jan with a night on the main island at the Sheraton on either end.

Is there electricity, food, water?

How bad was the damage?

Are the waters settling enough for the diving to be OK?

Kadavu is awesome for surfing and diving( even volcanoes) The Astrolabe Reef is amazing.You should have good visibility for your trip two weeks off. As far as your resort, you might want to e-mail them and give them a few days to reply.
Communications may not be all up-and-running at the moment, but by the time you arrive things should be
back to normal.
