Storage in FIji

Hi Guys,
Hoping someone can help me. WIll be travelling through Fiji on the States for work. Am looking for somewhere secure to lock up and leave valuables while trecking around the islands. Any suggestions?

There's a left luggage @ the Nadi airport-not too expensive.

but I wouldn't recommend it as terribly secure. It's just a room with shelving racks and a ticket tied on to your bag, ad your name & ticket number written in a book! When we were there time was tight in between our internal flight form Taveuni and flying out again internationally and there was no-one there, door open but no staff. We took our bags and left a note on the desk, anyone couldn't helped themselves to anything. Admittedly all our stuff was untouched and nothing missing, but not a very secure left luggage facility.

Maybe try one of the hotels around the airport, if you stay a night they will lock up your stuff until your return.

I have never heard of anyone having anything taken or even touched out of that room-ever.
