| bunty2313:27 UTC16 Nov 2007 | Hi There,
My folks are going travelling next year and will be stopping off in Fiji. I am looking for some kind of treat that I can get them as a present for when they get there and would really love any recommendations from people who have travelled there recently. This could be anything from a night or 2 in a beautiful hotel to a boat tour or mini cruise. Sorry this is a bit open and vague but I am genuinly open to any suggestions. Something a little bit luxurious that they might not do for themselves would be good. DIving probably out though as only one of them is a diver. Obviously budget has to be slightly within reason though!
Thanks in advance for any help.

I think Blue Lagoon Cruises still does those as well, try www.bluelagooncruises.com

[And if they don't take it, I'll go, just send the vouchers with the name blank! :) ]

Don't worry about diving because if they know how to float, and most people can especially in the very saline water in Fiji, they will see so much beauty just by snorkelling. If you want a smaller treat instead, many hotels have spas so you could treat them to a massage or skin treatment. Also things like a private lobster & champagne dinner on hotel beaches are easily available. For a separate activity, think about their interests and abilities and what they might enjoy in a diverse, beautiful tropical island country. Easily available are river rafting, jet boat ride, sky diving, scenic small plane or helicopter flights, horseback ride, sport fishing, golfing, island day trips, hot springs, waterfalls, etc etc. They could even get brought to an uninhabited island for a private day of sunbathing, swimming and picnicking. Good luck, I'm sure they'll love whatever you choose.
