Suva to Rainbow Reef Resort

Anybody know of a way to get to Rainbow Reef Resort without having to take a plane? Any options other than a ferry?

Where is the Rainbow Reef Resort located?

Suva is on the island of Viti Levu. There is a Rainbow reef between Vanua Levu and Taveuni.

To get there you have to cross open water. There are no bridges. Options other than boat or plane are limited.

From Suva, you'll need to fly or take the ferry. The resort is on the extreme eastern side of Vanua Levu, so it may work out quicker to
go to Taveuni and transfer from there. I'd e-mail the resort for details.

Yes, a good idea to contact the resort. I know one resort in that corner that suggests that you fly to Matei on Taveuni. They'll arrange boat transfer from there. Quicker and easier than bus and boat from Savusavu.

What kind of non-plane, non-boat options are you thinking of? Helicopter?
