The filmed blue lagoon on Nanuya Lailai Island

Welcome advises about the blue lagoon beach NOT the identical named resort.
Is it one beach or more? Is it sitting on private land that not allow to visit unless accommodate?

Some of the island (and main beach on the western side of the island) is owned by Nanuya Resort and some was owned by Blue Lagoon Cruises who have now gone. Not sure who owns that now.
There is also a small back packer resort on the eastern side of the Island, but I don't know who owns that bit. I was under the impression that there were only 2 owners of the whole Island.
The western beach is the best but there is a beach of sorts all the way around and you can walk around the island in a couple of hours.
Pretty much ALL land in Fiji is privately owned.
I suggest you contact the resort.

If you mean the Blue Lagoon from 1980 then that beach is on the east side of Taveuni, and it is accessible by Lavena Coastal Walk tour, which is cheap
