The Pearl South Pacific

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has stayed at the Pearl South Pacific, inbetween Nadi and Suva. I have always stayed in the Mamamuca's or Yasawas when visiting Fiji so don't know much about the mainland at all. Have a mate staying there in July and I can virtually go for small change so would like to know if it is worth it.

- What is the weather like during July in this area? Is the beach here as bad as those along the Coral Coast?
- There seems to be some good diving with Beqa in the lagoon, is this true?
- What is the resort like? Activities? Food? General vibe?
