the world should be like fiji

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji

We just got back from a week in Fiji. They are the friendliest people in the world. Now that being said the heat of their summer and the very undependable inter-island flights still didn't dampen the experience. We were in Taveuni and a small rental house. This island is the best for waterfall/ coastal hikes in lush vegetative areas. very affordable ex for the flights. I hope some competition comes in soon to make pacific air more reliable and affordable. bring tee shirts and toys for the kids, they will love you

Bula! What makes Fiji such a great place to travel are the Fijian people- they are terrific to visitors and
make you realize what a great culture they have- focused on their social relationships- and not money so

much. They make enjoying the beauty of their islands an unforgettable experience.

#1 you can find flight info here, Air Pacific is the only carrier.

bike4me - Can you tell me more about this rental house? How did you find it? Can you book online, or when you get there? How much was it? Interesting alternative to staying in a resort and would love to know more about it.

Thx.
