Transfers Yasawa

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji

We are almost ready. Family of 4 with 2 teenagers. All is arranged for our trip to Fiji. One last detail is transfers to and from the Yasawas. We spend 3 nights at the Blue Lagoon and then 4 nights at Octopus(but it adds up to 8 days) . I understand that the Yasawa Flyer does this round. What is the best way to book with them, the most economical, if any? Any suggestion from experienced travelers to the area? The 7-day pass doesn't work as we total 8 days.
thank you very much!

The easiest way would be to ask Blue Lagoon to book the boat for you - they have done that for us. Otherwise just do it through Awesome Adventures, they don't say so on their website but they do book ordinary transfers to/from resorts. Use the email address on their website and tell them which days, number of passengers, & they will give you a booking reference. They may ask for a credit card number for payment - we have always told them that we will pay on check-in and they have been fine with that but still require the number to hold the booking. "Most economical" does not apply - as the fare will be the same whether you do it yourself or ask the resort to book it. The only price difference you will be offered is if you wanted to use the Captains Lounge, costs more but refreshments are then free - I've always felt it was unnecessary.
