Travel Between Pacific Island CountriesCountry forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Fiji
I'd like to spend a month travelling to several different Pacific Island counties, say : Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Vanuatu & Cook Islands. (I'll post this to several of the counties forums)
Ken, don't bother with separate posts to each country, they won't get any more replies than this general one. | 1
A couple of years ago we were able to do a triangle trip from Fiji to Vanuatu to New Caledonia to Fiji. You can also connect Tahiti and the Cook Islands. What I find helpful is to go the website for the airports in the area and check out where flights are coming from and going to - most will have arrival and departure information - or one of the websites that have that information. | 2
I'm not sure airports like Honiara even HAVE a website! | 3
They probably don't Ozziegiraffe but I found you can still access flight information from a website like skyscanner.net. I typed Honiara Airport into my search engine and found skyscanner which gave me a list of airports you can fly to from Honiara. I chose Brisbane and then got a link to Virgin Blue where I was able to get schedules. A bit of work but doable. Hope this helps others trying to find their way around the SP. | 4
Thanks for the website, Newfie. I may not need it to fly to Honiara, but it will help me plan my trip to Europe. | 5
