URGENT! Fiji Help most wanted!

Hi Everyone,

My boyfriend and I are heading to Fiji for 2 weeks tomorrow (short notice) and we would like some help.

We want to visit the Yasawa Islands and was wondering if anyone could recommend any resorts to stay at - ideally bout 3/4 islands over the two weeks.

Should we buy a combo awesome adventure pass for 13 nights (although we only have 12) - that way if we dont like an island we can move on - or shall we extend the 'ultimate lei' package for a few extra nights which works out slightly cheaper - although the resorts you go to have some mixed reviews

on the other hand, we could have 6 nights in the yasawas and then another 5 at mango bay resort on the mainland (anyone been here??)

in short we would like to:

Relax on the beach
Snorkel
See some manta rays
Drink some kuva
maybe head to beachcomber for 1/2 nights for a more party atmosphere (we are 24 & 25 will we feel like oldies there?)

P.S. we are backpacking so cant really afford flash resorts - maybe looking to spend around £700-800 each over the two weeks

Buy the 2-week Bula Pass and then book your accommodation separately on your own as you go.

Those package deals aren't really deals, as you often have to pay extra when you arrive at certain resorts (ie. Beachcomber), and they really limit where and when you can move to a different resort.

The islands are much nicer than the mainland, so don't bother with the Coral Coast / Mango Bay.

To see the Mantas I suggest going from a stay at either Octopus or Manta Ray Resort. Octopus is nicer but dearer
