vuna reef off taveuni: three questions

hello all:

we are hoping to visit and snorkel the vuna reef. is it one of the better places to snorkel in fiji? what is the best place to stay in order to have easiest access to this reef area? is getting there really difficult?

we are hoping to arrive at taveuni from levuka. is there a direct way to do that?

Can't help with your reef question - but you will have to return to Suva from Levuka and then go to Taveuni.

It's a few years since we tried to do it - and since then some ferry services have been cut - but at that stage the two did not connect.
