Warning: Air Pacific Refundable tickets

A year ago I went to refund a fully refundable ticket at their office three weeks prior to departure, was told that it was all ok and that I would come back in a few days time to get my refund. I came back but was told again to come again. This continued for the next two weeks until I left the country and I continued to have contact with them by email to get my refund. During this year I have been in contact with them regularly and the only thing they tell me is what they are working on it. I have now given up the hope to see my 300 USD again and would like to warn others to not do the same thing I did.

So. Beware if you are thinking about buying a refundable ticket from Air Pacific!

i had a recent reason to contact Air Pacific for a cost refund and found they couldn't be more friendlier or effiecient, good luck and email rosareen@airpacific.com.fj

I am not surprised as in today's Fiji Times an article about air pacific stating it can now pay wages owing to 600 staff because of improved cash flow. Will this be the next airline to go belly up.

i can only go on my experience, but i was impressed even though they sd i could switch flights but when i got to the airport theyd forgotten to say the plane was 8 hours earlier that day! oopps! but they were very kind and considerate and paid me for a hotel and airfare diff when i later claimed it, the manager Jimmy and Rosareen were very professional and friendly to me.
