Water taxi in the Mamanucas Islands

I am trying to get from Nanuya Island (Yasawa's Island chain) to Mana Island (Mamanuca's Island chain). I understand that I must take the Yasawa Flyer to South Sea Island (or perhaps Beachcomber Island) and then charter a water taxi to Mana Island.

Unfortunately the Yasawa Flyer does not arrive at Beachcomber Island until 5pm so it's too late to connect to South Sea Cruises.

Sea Fiji has quoted us $437.50 Fiji dollars. On top of the price for the Yasawa Flyer this is proving to be quite expensive. Is there a cheaper way to do this without staying overnight somewhere enroute?
