what to do for a week in FIJI?

Hi,
Myself and my best friend are starting to plan a week in Fiji before she moves back to the states and I stay in australia

we want to make the best of the week so
any advice on where to stay
what to do
fill our week for us!

what kind of budget are you looking at? If you're looking for Fiji on a limited budget, I'd suggest getting out to the Yasawas. There's a combination of party islands and quiet resorts with lots of beach to yourself. Hop on the Yasawas flyer and explore a few different islands. awesome adventures do packages or you can just book the boat and sort out your accommodation yourself. If you have a bit of cash to play with, there are lots more options.

Check out Octopus or Manta Ray in the Yasawa's both have excellent food and good accommodation's. Tropic of Capricorn in Nadi is a great experience if you need to spend a night on the mainland..

I second Octopus... one of my favourite places to stay ever. Book on their website, they do fill up quickly but the tents are as comfy as the bures!

No more tents at Octopus - but they do have small (double) bures that use dorm facilities so are cheaper.
