| murfs1310:25 UTC05 Jun 2007 | Can anyone recommend a good spot with mid range accommodation that will suit an 18 yo who wants to "dive, snorkel & lie on a beach", and her long suffering mother who will just lie on a beach? I think it would be good if there were some night spots nearby for her to party, but not so close as to disturb MY holiday!
Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi,
The Warwick would be ideal for you and your mum. They have a good diving operation and the resort has a nigh club and also other night clubs nearby is the one at their sister property which is the Naviti Resort(only 5-10 minutes drive away)

If you are on the Coral Coast Viti Levu, then you might consider coming into Pac Harbor and checking out
the Pearl. They have Aqua Trek Divers, which does a great shark dive and also lots of coral
and wildlife in Beqa Lagoon. The Pearl has some great jazz on Sunday evenings. Beach is nice and clean, and the food there is good. Pac Harbor has some shopping and places you can chill wih the locals, like the Uprising up the road, locally owned.
Ask for specials and deals, I was there just a week ago and they were not very full. Lots of good prices since the coup has thinned out the crowds. But I live here, and I assure you that its safe.
