Will we make our transfer?

We have a flight arriving in Nadi at 3.45pm and need to make it to the Yasawa flyer by 5.30pm ( departure time - prefrebly before to check in ) I understand it takes 20mins by cab - whats the airport customs like? Is this going to be possible... any advice would help thanks :)

Have you got your times right? The Yasawa Flyer leaves at 8.30am!

The phone number for info on the Yasawa Flyer is (Fiji) +679 675 0499 and is staffed from 7am to 8pm every day.

Sorry I ment the South Sea Cruises -5.30pm is the last departure time to Beachcomber. We fly in a 3.45pm... is it going to be possible to get to the Marina in time?

Possible but I doubt it.
An hour to get off would be a minimum. I have waited 3 hours to meet passengers.

If we are at the front of the plane and there is no plane that has just arrived ahead of ours we are usually through Customs, have our bags and are ready to go in 15 minutes.
That should give you time to get a taxi to Denerau and make your connection.
However your plane could be late, another plane might just have arrived ahead of you (this has only happened once to us) and if you are in the last row to exit the plane you could have a problem.

Thanks for your feedback. I will try and book seats close to the front of the plane and guess we will just take our chances.

No worries, are you on the Virgin flight, either way, you'll be fine, if you are booked on the boat and on the island already you will be not doing anything unusual, they will have a airport transfer made available for you if they know you are coming and plan to meet you at one of their offices just outside the customs hall in Nadi, if time permits they'll probably put you on a free bus, or they may ask $20 and pop you in a cab, no worries at all. The late arvo ferrys are kinda new, no doubt put on by resorts keen to have your money for the first night rather than paid in Nadi. I'm on a similar one headed to Plantation in a few weeks myself.

Thank you that is very reassuring. I dont think any one will be meeting us at the airport but we will just jump straight in a cab.

still, when you exit the airport pop into the ferry office and let them know you are there and confirm with the dock then jump the cab, that said email them now as they may just have a bus or other t'port arranged to go for others off your flight
